This is an announcement that a project that me and my friends have done together is finished. It's a fanzine with texts, illustrations and comics and the theme is HAPPINESS! :) It's for the yearly Small Press Expo in Stockholm!

So scribbly, but I was already behind on this assignment, so it had to be quick...

Yay, now I am only one assignment behind. The only reason why I let myself be behind on assignments is because this class is not obligatory, I am taking it for fun and learning. :) But I am trying really hard to pass. So that I have an excuse to draw.

My eyes look evil. Because they are bloodshot. Argh... it's been months since last time. Now... I must go to bed!

I am so busy these days. School and work, but the future looks bright! I only wish the future brings me more time to draw and do personal stuff. ;)

Here's some doodles, as promised. Most of them were drawn during nighttime, which is why they are wobbly, and I will call them: "night doodles". Enjoy! (These are from end of July until now - drawn when time was given on evening/night-time)

Good news: I am making progress on the commissions. Commissioners will hear from me shortly if I keep up this pace.

All Swedes: I always wondered. How do I make it to SerieWikin? Almost all of my comic/illustrator/animator friends are listed there. Do I need to do something extraoridinary, or just ask someone to put me up there? Just curious. Since, well, I have been doing comics "officially" since 2005 now, and I am curious if that is enough to be listed on the site. :D

I don't want to sound like these typical "omg, I can't draw anymore! GIVE ME ATTENTION!  *emo*"-whiners (not directing these to anyone I know, mind you XD). But I haven't actually drawn in soo long - that everytime I sketch lately, I go furious about how many steps back I have gone. Or at least is feels like it. I can't finish a fullbody pose like before, or more frustrating: I can't come up with good poses anymore. I draw the same face all the time and bla bla bla.  Frustrating! I hope to get over this soon, I am sure it's just in my head and that I am stressing myself. I am just frustrated I don't have the time to doodle now and then like I did before.  Usually, I finish a lot of sketch books a year. But right now, I am still only halfthrough a sketch-pad I started back in December. I haven't finished a piece since... wow, I don't even know! The only thing I actually "finished" was Försupen vol 2, but it's not even completely screentoned yet.

The last weeks at work I promised myself I would, as soon as school started, sketch/doodle more for practise in the future. Even try to post more art here for feedback. Hopefully I will be more creative again, and my progress in art will be more full of quality and effectiveness. Which is important for me when I work on projects and commissions. I don't want to give away half assed stuff, even if I am delayed. I am happy to say that I progressed some on Brianne's and Tam's commissions a week ago. Hope to send some result soon! (Sorry for keeping you waiting, darlings~ I owe you big time.).

Happy random news: I won 2 kg of Marabou chocolate at an amusement park a while ago! xD

The company I bought my new computer from, the computer I sent back since it didn't work as promised, has finally contacted us and said that there are no problems with the hardware. Which means that there shouldn't be any problem with it - they didn't fix anything. Which is really frustrating. This is not the only issue, but: the new computer is so much slower in photoshop than on my old computer... 512 RAM on my old comp and 2 gig on the new one. I know it isn't all about the RAM, but according to the company, the new computer has a set of components that should work great together. Yet, my computer from 2003 is a whole lot better. We will see if it still lags when I get it back. If it does, we will have to complain some more to the company. This is not acceptable.

Hope to post some art soon! (I have no idea how many times I hace said that in the latest posts...)

4 days left at work. It's going to be such a relief to finally be able to rest some before school starts. I have had some great experience with this job, but also some horrible ones. Right now I can't stand some of my fellow-workers.

I want to rest from thinking about work, and also organize the apartment. I also noticed recently when attempting to work on commissions that I have really gotten behind with drawing, which is so unfair to those who commission me.  Esp. to those who have been waiting a year or more. I am super slow and nothing turns out the way I want. So, to get back my "quality" as soon as work is over I will try to get back to drawing again by randomly doodle once in a while, and hopefully post some here.

Wow, I really should try to post more often. So much have been going on lately - but since I haven't written regulary for more than half a year I feel so stressed about all the things I need to catch up on writing about! The past... five?... weeks I have been travelling around like crazy, mostly at weekends but also in the middle of the week (twice, I think?). Have been on conventions, celebrations and a conference. The conference sure gave me a lot of inspiration for the future. There is hope for me!

Also, I am moving again soon, in july! I wish I could write more about it now, but there are so many gaps to fill in. :x I need to make a huge entry to sum up all the important things I haven't written about here. I also got a job this summer, so I will be really busy. Starting June 2nd.

For now, here's some art I forgot to show you!


Lastly: I am sorry about some mails and comments I haven't replied to yet. Especially one really important mail. This weekend is the first weekend completely "free from work and travel" for a long time, and I am trying to relax a little while catching up. I hope it's understandable!

I try really hard to get back online and stay active, but it seems like I will never have a time of "good ol' surfing and commenting". Even though I finish projects and put them behind me, there is always more coming up. Right now I am trying to finish an other coloring-gig, which is really hard since I am busy most of the day. I am also trying to finish Försupen Vol 2 so that I can have it available at SPX in April. Most of it seem impossible, but I am trying really hard! But it feels like I don't have that sort of spark I had a year ago when it comes to productiveness. I could set up daily goals and stick to them, but today I just don't manage.

Oh, and I am also the Art Director in our next game project - 10 weeks of production. I thought I was doing myself a favor skipping the lead-role this year, but I just realized that AD is a really huge role as well - but fun, I guess! We have some neat concepts coming up. I was placed in the game-concept-group that got most votes, so it feels like a lot of people expect a lot from us. Here's some rough concepts that I did for their presentation (even before I was put in the group XD ):


   



I just finished a big-ass report at Univ. though. I am kind of proud of it, but it took up so much of my time! But it was an interesting research. I also attended to a job-interview this week, for a position during the summer at a sort of summer- and waterrelated amusement park. I am kind of nervous about it, but the interview went well.

I really want to draw something  - feels like it was forever since I drew something for myself, something 100% for fun. I just want to finish all the things I have going on first, so that I can draw something for myself, feel good about myself and enjoy it. :)

This year I am not going to spend easter alone with my projects, which feels good for a change, even though I want to catch up. And I hope to be able to see my little brother and kichi_su! <3 I miss drawing with land so much! And I feel a bit regretful about missing the great opportunity to draw with her when she visited Skövde last time~

Here's some doodles that have been lying around for some time!

Sorry for not being very active commenting lately. Very busy with the usual stuff + pre-school stuff, I am even doing some unreasonable go-to-bed-late get-up-freaking-early actions in order to get things out of the way! Other than my usual hysteric stuff, we are preparing some stuff for the new students - and I am also going to have a "roomie" all next week (first week for the new students) - so in order to not slip away from my schedule even more, I try to be extra productive. I am trying to prevent a "one step forward - two steps back" dilemma here. ;)

I reserved an ad-page for Försupen in this project a while ago, and I finally got time to make something of that page. Now... I need help with the layout for eventual text to go along with the ad/artwork. :) The concept sketch for the layout looked more promising than it does now - so... help!

Even if the final version will be in black and white/greyscale - I made the ad-drawing in color, since I wanted to experiment. If you just want to look at some new art, click away!

Finally finished PE's round 55! I spent so much time on this one in the end, on details, and it was indeed a lot of fun.  I sometime feel spoiled to always have such interesting characters to draw for my art trades and commissions. XD


Already started drawing the lightning round - chibis/SD. Going to be interesting. :) My SD style is... pretty amusing these days!

Don't ask me why I am nervous, it's always like that before traveling. I hate carrying heavy bags, switch trains for hours etc. :x When I travelled back to Ludvika, one of my trains was late... so I missed one of the other trains... so I had to wait for the next one over an hour in the heat. *ack*

I guess I am a bit nervous about returning too, because of various of reasons. But happy to return to my home-comp. I will finally be able to color bigger-res stuff without eternal lag of doom!

Assignment finished, I just need to read it through a few times and see if I got it all right.

Most of you have seen these already, but... I really lack of posting art!

Today I wasted 40 crowns + 15 crowns (8 $) to go somewhere outside, drawing, for class... only to arrive in pouring rain - so, no drawing, just wasted precious money!! *grrrr*

Anyway, thought I'd to a quick sketch post before I get back to catching up on people's entries (and finish writing about SPX). I don't know if I will be able to catch up on everyone - I have hardly been around LJ since I went to SPX. XD Sad but true - - I will try to at least read everyone's entries!

Just needed to draw something easter-ish. Apparently, according to a lot of people, easter is one of the most important holidays in Sweden except for X-mas and Midsummers eve. A holiday to spend with family and friends, eat food and CANDY. I remember when I was younger we would always go to my grandparents and look for easter-eggs with candy! It's a bit of a shame I spent easter alone this year, but I really look forward to summer instead. :)

I just had to make an icon out of Fozt's expression, it cracks me up so bad! (sadly. XD) Well, it's supposed to crack up, in order to make what happens next on the comic-page less "heartless" - so it's all good.



An other 3 comic-pages of editing, and I am off to bed!
After tomorrow's classes, I have one week off from classes. (Since next week is meant for exams, and I don't have any exams on the courses I currently take.)
I have so much that I need to catch up on and things I want to do for the fun of it. I will make a list soon. Was supposed to visit my brother/s, but I think I have to skip it this time too. Economy-wise and time-wise. I could need a week to catch up on sleep too. Hum hum.

Still thinking about making something neat out of my lj-layout. I have no idea how or into what, though. And is there a possibility to adjust the tag-galleries' layouts too??
